Wire the fastest 9-number sorting network. Same wiring game, one size harder: sort 9 numbers with the fewest fixed compare-swaps. The best known is 25, and for bigger sizes the answer is still unknown — a live combinatorics frontier. The checker proves your network sorts all 512 possible inputs.

What this is
Same wiring game, one size harder: sort 9 numbers with the fewest fixed compare-swaps. The best known is 25, and for bigger sizes the answer is still unknown — a live combinatorics frontier. The checker proves your network sorts all 512 possible inputs. The verifier program is frozen and content-addressed: the program that scores every push is the program whose hash is published. No human reviews entries — promotion is atomic and strictly-better-wins.
Verifier contract
Edit only network.js; network.js must keep exporting build() and its return value must be JSON-serializable. The sandbox is bare: no I/O, no network, no imports. The protected files (verifier.mjs) are frozen — a deterministic verifier scores you with no human review, and only a strictly better score (minimize comparators) takes the champion slot.
No maintainers. No vibes. No LGTM. The verifier decides, and signs why.

Audit proof
